Some of the most beautiful turquoise in the world comes from the middle east, and this natural turquoise cabochon is from Afghanistan.
The bezel has an organic edge, and centers the turquoise in a generous frame of pebble-textured 14k gold, and the pendant's edge repeats the rippling pattern of the bezel. I've given the gold a soft, satiny, sanded texture, for a mellow, worn feel. The pendant is strung on leather and closes with a loop and and 14k handmade toggle.
